The third and final race during the 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend was the half marathon itself. Those aged 14 and over were able to take part. It was a particular hot race with the race starting under a yellow flag and, for some, ending with a red flag.

This year race came with frightfully fun type theme. Minnie, Daisy and Clarabelle appeared at the start of the race and on the medal in their Sanderson Sisters outfits. Themed characters appeared on the run.

Those who had already completed the 10k and signed up for the challenge could earn a Jack Skellington and Sally Stitches themed medal for completing the race.

This year's event included:

• Start and finish on Disney Way
• Route through Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure and the Anaheim Angels Baseball stadium.
• Characters meeting during the race only but some appearing in a race pre-show
• Photopass available on the course

Important information about this race

• Some meets were Photopass only and some had no photopass
• Race bibs had to be picked up at the Expo the day before the race
• There were no pre-race character meets
• Extra water and Poweraid stops were added to the race with nearly 10 in total
