For 2017 the weekend was renamed “Disneyland Paris Magic Run Weekend” and a 10k run was added to the events list. The start line was located next to Disney Village and departed at 7am. Our hosts for this edition were the Flora, Fauna and Merriweather who sent the runners out on their enchanting journey through the grand entrance gate to the Walt Disney Studios and on to Disneyland Park via Fantasia Gardens. The run took in all the lands of the Disneyland Park with the largest number of Character meets ever in a Run Disney event in Paris before exiting backstage and returning to cross the finish line at Production Courtyard in the Walt Disney Studios.

2017 also saw the introduction of the first ever Challenge with the BibbidiBobbidiBoo 31k Challenge Medal for those runners completing both the 10k and Half Marathon. A total of 5 medals were available (3 runs, 1 Challenge, and 1 C2C)
