Want to know what happened in the magical world of Disney characters last month? Look no further: we’ve got you covered!
New characters on the website
The year started with a bang: we added some rare characters to the website:
- Park exclusive characters DiVine and Lucky the Dinosaur
- Characters from our favorite movies, like Evinrude, and the whole Turning Red gang!
- And last but not least: the Disney Junior characters from JoJo’s Circus.
New outfits on the website
To celebrate Lunar New Year, Disney California Adventure Park gave some of our beloved characters a festive outfit. And there are more celebrations to come, as this park celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026! Mickey and Minnie Mouse already pulled out their retro outfits from their closets to start off the festivities.
The start of a new year is a good moment to look back on the past, so we added some 2012-2013 outfits from Minnie’s Fly Girls Charter Airlines show.
Events in the parks last month
Lunar New Year was celebrated big - literally - this year at Disney California Park, with Red Panda making a special appearance!
And Charlotte La Bouff made a special appearance for Disneyland Sweethearts’ Nite!
New locations
Love roaming around the parks? Check out these lovely locations:
- The world of Hollywood is opening up for you at Disney Adventure World! The reimagined entrance to Paris’ second park shines bright at World Premier and takes you to the glamorous world of Hollywood movies. Its heart, World Premier Plaza, is also newly refurbished and ready to welcome guests to the park.
- Over at Shanghai Disneyland Resort, Duffy and his friends would love to welcome you at their own restaurant: Duffy and friends Celebration Hall!
Fun fact of the month!
We all know the famous roar of Simba in Disney’s The Lion King… but that is actually the sound of a tiger!

New characters on the website
October and Halloween are all about the villains, right? So to keep up with that theme, we added some Marvel villains to our website. Please welcome: Thanos, Nebula and the Black Order Soldiers.
We also welcomed a band of pirates on our website: Izzy, Bones, and Sharky.
And last but not least, we present our new royal on the website: Princess Amber.
New outfits on the website
Some of us already started preparing for the colder months…
- … just like Chip & Dale who started showing off their new Autumn Outfits at Disneyland Paris…
- …or Judy Hops & Nick Wilde who stepped into their cosy winter outfits for Winter Snow Ball Festival at Shanghai Disneyland.
- And Mickey and his friends changed into their winter pyjamas at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort for the Bedtime Story Meet & Greet.
- Donald Duck, Chip & Dale also enjoy wearing their new Tai Chi outfits at Shanghai Disneyland these days.
- But it’s not all about cosiness, because at Walt Disney World, Mickey & Minnie Mouse debuted their new Traveller Explorer outfits for the exclusive Disney Vacation Club.
Oh, and did you see Mickey & Minnie’s Haunted Mansion-inspired outfits?!
Events in the parks last month
Last month, we welcomed back some of our favorite Halloween events, shows, and parades at the Disney parks around the globe (like Mickey’s Halloween Celebration!). But we also added a few new favorites!
- The villains stepped out of the shadows and onto “The Villains Balcony Walk” at Shanghai Disneyland.
- Even cute little Duffy and his friends are very much into Halloween this year with their own Halloween Playhouse at Hong Kong Disneyland.
- Stitch is having the time of his life in his Vampire outfit at Disneyland Paris, while Jack Skellington and Sally Stitches are also meeting guests here.
- And who knows if you meet Sally Slater this Halloween at one of Disney’s Haunted Mansions?
- Aboard the Disney Cruise Line, guests can enjoy Pirate Night Character Meets.
And for those who’re just not that much into Halloween, we’ve thought about you too with some more peaceful events:
- In need of a balanced body and calm mind? The Tai Chi with Characters Show at Shanghai Disneyland is the place to be for you!
- Those in need of a good night’s sleep should in turn visit Bedtime Story Meet & Greet with Disney Characters at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel’s Kingdom Club.
- And while Meet Mickey at Disneyland Park in Paris is being refurbished, you can meet our favorite mouse over at Walt Disney Studios Park’s Studio D.

- Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disneyland is a celebration of all the Disney princesses.
- Immerse yourself in the world of Duffy and his friends at the Duffy and Friends Play House at Hong Kong Disneyland.
- On the Disney Cruise Line, you can get soaked up in different magical worlds in Disney’s Oceaneer Club, with themes ranging from Pixie Hollow to Super Hero Academy, or Andy’s Bedroom.
Fun fact of the month!
Did you know Walt Disney intended the name Mortimer for our beloved mouse? His wife Lily changed it to Mickey Mouse!

Technical genius Syndrome is one of our newest additions, alongside SuperKitty Bitsy. Let’s hope Syndrome won’t try to harm her!
Two rather rare characters found their way from the online game Toontown Rewritten to our website: welcome Flunky and Flippy!
Events in the parks last month
Princess or villain? What do you prefer?
- Disneyland Paris celebrated World Princess Week for the fifth year with lots of royal guests.
- Meanwhile, Halloween time has started on the other side of the ocean with Oogie Boogie Bash in full swing! Even the inhabitants of Radiator Springs (or is it Radiator Screams?) are dressing up already. And did you see Jack & Sally’s new look already?

Love roaming around the parks? Check out these lovely locations:
- Disney’s Californa Adventure Park has lots of fun spots in store for us: Disney Junior comes to life at the Disney Junior Theater, you can meet your favorite Pixar friends at the Pixar Pier Band Shell and even the calmest spots of the Disney parks sometimes host unexpected visits from Disney friends, just like Grizzly River Run!
- Feel like having a fancy dinner with the Disney princesses at a Norwegian restaurant? No need to travel all the way to Norway! Just go to the Akerhus Royal Banquet Hall at Walt Disney World.
