Taran
Background
Taran was discovered as a foundling in Disney’s animated film The Black Cauldron. He grew up with Dallben, an enchanter and farmer. As Taran began to long for adventure while he grew up, he leaves his home and soon finds himself caught in a quest. Taran is a courageous and adventurous young man, who likes to show his heroism. He is a charming, caring and good-hearted boy. He freed the ancient, magical sword Dyrnwyn from King Rhitta’s tomb. Together with his friends he bravely fought the Black Cauldron.
