Human Torch is one of the members of the Fantastic Four, a group of heroes that uses its combined powers to fight evil. His real name is Johnny Storm and he has family ties with two other members of the group: his older sister is Susan “Sue” Storm, better known as Invisible Woman, and Reed Richards, better known as Mr. Fantastic, is his brother-in-law. Johnny has the power to create and control fire, which literally means he can set himself on fire! Hence his superhero name Human Torch. Fortunately, Johnny is never affected by heat and flames, so this doesn’t hurt him. Further on, he’s also able to mentally control the heat energy of things in his immediate environment. Johnny can be quite immature but he can also be kind and caring, if he feels like it.
