DLP - Art of AnimationDLP - Disneyland Paris
Did you know that the Animation Celebration building was first known as the 'Art of Disney Animation'?
Since the opening of the Walt Disney Studios Park in 2002, and until January 2019, you could discover how animated movies were made.
In the preshow room, different inventions are displayed that were used by us to animate drawings. In the next room, you could enjoy the greatest memories from your favorite Disney movies, before you went to the drawing room. Here an animator, with the help of the friendly dragon Mushu, explained how a Disney movie is made. You would be surprised how many people worked on your favorite film!
And then it was your turn: in the post-show room you could learn to draw your own Disney character, make your own sound effects or give your favorite Disney hero or villain your own voice.
In 2019 the building closed to be revamped as 'Animation Celebration'. The preshow room stayed, and you can still learn to draw, but other effects, and the complete show with Mushu were replaced by the Kingdom of Arendelle!
