D23, the Ultimate fan event, happens every two years during summer at the Anaheim Convention Center. Here you discover the new things Disney is preparing, but you can also learn more about the rich past of the company or about your favorite movies and series. And of course: you can meet some exclusive Disney friends!
The Anaheim Convention center opened in 1967. It started as a basketball arena but soon it hosted several big conventions, like D23. You can find it at the back of DCA. From here you get an exclusive look at the backside of Cars Land!
Sometimes the Star Wars Celebration also takes place at the convention. Because it is so close to the Disneyland Resort, you can spend your day watching panels and discovering amazing (Disney) news, and spent the evening watching the Tiki birds sing their songs in Adventureland.
