Archimedes is Merlin’s pet owl in Disney’s The Sword in the Stone. He’s a highly educated owl, and so intelligent that can speak like a human. Archimedes has a rather sarcastic personality and is known to have a temper in the mornings. He loves sleeping and hates being woken up. Just like Merlin, he has dealt with Madam Mim and now fears her. He loves Merlin's cleverness and is also fond of Arthur. After the coronation of Arthur, Merlin and Archimedes moved to his castle to guide him.
