Welcome to Storyteller Cafe loacted at the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa at the Disneyland Resort set in a rustic wilderness theme paying tribute to the early days of California and the art of storytelling. Character dining was first seen here in 2011 with "Chip 'n' Dale's Critter Breakfast" featuring Characters such as Kenai and Koda from Brother Bear, Terk from Tarzan and Meeko from Pocahontas. In 2018 Mickey took over the breakfast slot with the hugely popular "Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast and Brunch" which saw Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip 'n' Dale and Pluto in explorer outfits and continues to be a favorite amongst Guests to this day. With a growing reputation, the offering was extended in 2024 with new seasonal themed Character dining experiences with "Mickey's Autum Adventure Brunch" for Halloween followed by "Mickey's Holiday Pajama Party Brunch" durind the Christmas Season. And that's not all, 2025 saw the first evening Character dining experience at Storyteller with "Donald's Tale of Adventure where Donald Duck was joined by Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto in all new explorer outfits with some incredible detail. Continuing with the success of seasonal themes, "Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner" took over from Donald for Halloween 2025 followed by "Mickey's Christmas Carol Dinner" featuring some rare and unique outifts from the film of the same name. Mickey also handed over his pajama party to Daisy for the 2025 holiday season breakfast slot with "Daisy's Holiday Pajama Party. Explore the dining adventures below.
