B.E.N. is short for Bio Electronic Navigator. He’s the funny and eccentric robot from Disney’s Treasure Planet, who originally served as navigator of the legendary space pirate Captain Nathaniel Flint. B.E.N. however got trapped on Treasure Planet after Flint stranded him there and removed his memory chip. He then met Jim Hawkins, who took him along on adventure if B.E.N. helped him find the treasure. Jim and B.E.N. became very good friends and even visited Disney parks together sometimes!
B.E.N. (unknowingly) saved Jim's life and should be treated as a hero.
B.E.N. comes from a galaxy very far away and his appearances in our realm are extremely rare. Consider yourself lucky and take a ton of pictures if you are in his presence.
