Baloo, full name Baloo von Bruinwald XIII, lives in the city of Cape Suzette in Disney’s TaleSpin. He’s a pilot and had his own air-freight shipping company called Baloo’s Air Service. However, he lost his business and plane, the Sea Duck, due to unpaid bills. Fortunately, Rebecca Cunningham bought his company and hired him again as a pilot working for the company "Higher for Hire. This way, Baloo can enjoy a good life, as he also loves to hang out at nightclubs and have fun with his best friend, foster son, and co-pilot Kit Cloudkicker. Baloo can always rely on his freind Louie to step in to help when there's trouble, there relationship can be described at - Baloo flies the Sea Duck and Louie serves the drinks! He can occassionally be seen visiting Disney parks in his TaleSpin outfit  during special ticketed events.
