Chernabog is the demon from the segment Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria in Disney’s Fantasia. He emerges from the peak of Bald Mountain to summon all his minions and followers on Walpurgis Night (the Witches’ Sabbath). Chernabog is pure evil, just for the fun of it. His only goal is tyranny. He has many dark powers and abilities and is able to cast a dark shadow over the village by spreading his arms. His reign, fortunately, comes to an end with every sunrise and the sound of church bells. Closing his wings protects him from the sunlight. Chernabog also likes to visit Disney parks, so be aware of his evil personality when you encounter him!
