Darkwing Duck is Drake Mallard’s crime fighting alter ego in the city of St Canard. His adventures were seen in the 1991-1992 popular Disney Afternoon TV show and has now become a cult classic. Darkwing wears a distinctive purple mask and cape, and his catchpharse is "let's get dangerous!". Thought he aims to be a fearless, world-saving hero, Darkwing often finds himself in humerous situations, dealing with villians such as Megavolt, Quackerjack, and Bushroot the evil dragon. Darkwing has a kind heart and is alwasy in pursuit for the greater good to protect St Canard. Darkwing often relies on Launchpad McQuack to help in various situatoins including flying the Thunderquack jet. In the 1990’s he toured the US in many Disney on Ice productions and performed daily at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. He still occassionally visits Disney Parks for special events.
