Evinrude is the helpful dragonfly from Disney’s The Rescuers(1977). He is a boat driver and known to man the fastest leaf boat in Devil’s Bayou, New Orleans. Evinrude is not only fast by boat, but he can also fly very fast. Although he doesn’t speak, he’s able to communicate with others. He’s a very courageous dragonfly, which he showed when he gave Bernard and Miss Bianca a ride across the swamp waters. Evinrude is most comfortable in the swampland of Devil’s Bayou and has not been seen much in Disney parks for a long while. Evinrude has also appeared as a decorative figure on the Princess and the Frog float in Disneyland’s Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.
