King Mickey is the ruler of the Castle in Disney's Kingdom Hearts series. As the king of the Disney Castle and a protector of the light, Mickey is a courageous leader who battles against the darkness. Mickey’s heart is big and full of kindness, he is brave, determined and loyal to his friends. Mickey sets off on numerous adventures to keep the worlds safe from the Heartless, Nobodies, and other forces of darkness.

As a skilled fighter and a powerful Keyblade wielder, King Mickey is a strong ally to Sora, Court Magician Donald and Royal Night Goofy in protecting the universe. King Mickey has a strong connection to the Keyblade and is seen as a symbol of hope, Mickey also bears the weight of leadership, shouldering the responsibility of Disney Castle and his people with grace.

Mickey’s loyalty to his friends, particularly his bond with Sora, makes him more than just a king; he is a trusted friend and mentor, always ready to step into the fray when needed. His heroic spirit, coupled with his unshakable resolve, makes King Mickey one of the most revered characters in the Kingdom Hearts universe.

King Mickey joined the line up of meetable Characters from Kingdom Hearts in 2015 when he first appeared at the D23 Expo in Japan as a surprise. He was then seen at various paid events such as Oogie Boogie Bash.

The outfit includes a red and black jacket with oversized zipper, red shorts with large pockets and yellow shoes with a black strap across the top. Mickey is often seen holding his gold chained keyblade.
