'Someone you can count' on is a description fitting for the Madrigal family's middle child Luisa. Like (almost all) of her siblings she has a superpower gifted to her by the family's magic candle. Luisa's superpower is the power of superhuman strength. She uses this power to help her family and village. Though physically powerful, she hides her vulnerability and fear of failure. Her uncertainty is visible to others by an eye twitch Luisa gets in tense moments. We can see her evolve into understanding she's good enough as she is. She then finds her true strength when she learns to love herself and accept help from others.
