Milo James Thatch is the unlikely hero who saved the lost empire of Atlantis from the mercenary commander Rourke. He is a cartographer and one of the few people on Earth who can read the Atlantean language. He started his studies at Oxford University in 1896. Afterwards, he started working at the Smithsonian institute in Washington DC. With the help of Kida’s crystal, Milo opened the portal that could lead him into our time and space after the 2001 animated movie Atlantis: The Lost Empire came out. He then arrived in the (former) Disney’s MGM studios park on a Martag with Kida, Vinny and Molière at his side. They took part in the Disney’s Stars and Cars parade during a year and even greeted guests in the Disneyland Park in California, but he had to return to Atlantis with the promise of coming back to the parks. He kept that promise and came back for a special event in 2013. Milo and Kida also took part in the 20th and 25th Anniversary celebration of Disneyland Paris and came back for Disney FanDaze as well.
