Sam Eagle

Background

Sam the Eagle is the American Eagle from The Muppets. He feels very responsible because of the role of eagles as the national symbol. Seeing himself as the moral center of The Muppet Show, he promotes – and tries to protect – American morals and values, even going as far as acting as censor behind the scenes of the show! Sam doesn’t like nonsense for entertainment and is an advocate of cultural and educational acts. Being too busy (and concerned) with upholding the morals of almost the entire world, he doesn’t visit Disney parks very often.
