TVA Agents work for the Time Variance Authority and have to make sure nobody creates nexus events big enough to cause the Sacred Timeline to branch. If someone does create a nexus event, they capture those people and take them out of their timeline. The agents all work for the Time Keepers, although no one has ever seen them in real life. There are multiple jobs in the TVA, like analysts, judges, and hunters. Unknowingly, they are all variants themselves and work for He Who Remains, but they all had their memories suppressed to be determined agents in service of the TVA. Some of them found out about their former lives after meeting Loki and Sylvie and started going after the truth themselves!
