DLP - Casey's CornerDLP - Disneyland Paris
Ready for a small lunch? Try a hotdog at Casey’s Corner! Similar to his American brother in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, this quick-service restaurant is based on the movie ‘Casey at the Bat!’ and can be found at the end of Main Street, close to Frontierland. ‘Casey at the Bat’ is a Walt Disney short from 1946 that is based on a baseball poem written in 1888 by Ernest Thayer. It tells the story of baseballplayer Casey who has to save his team from losing the match. Overconfident he can win, Casey does not swing at the first two pitches, both called strikes. On the thirth and final pitch, Casey strikes out swinging, so his team loses the match and the crowd goes home unhappy.
This restaurant is full of reference to Casey and the baseballgame and is a perfect restaurant for a quick bite.
