Main Street USA reminds us of the old American cities of the 1900’s. Walt Disney created this land for the original Disneyland Park as his tribute to Marceline, Missouri, the city where he grew up as a child and always stayed in his heart. It’s the time where electric lights and automobiles were slowly replacing the old lanterns and horsecars.
Here you can dine and shop and meet some amazing Disney friends. As Disneyland Park can be seen as a big movie coming to life, Main Street is the credits you can see in the beginning of older movies, showing you who worked on the film. Take a look at the windows: all the names you see worked on this Disneypark with all their talents and passions.
Just take a walk through this street, while enjoying the smells, sights and sounds. Or let the cars and horsecars carry you away. Note that this part of the park is usually the first land to open, and the last to close.
