DLR - Zocalo Park FrontierlandDLR - Disneyland Resort California

This area, part of Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurante, is thé place at Disneyland Park to celebrite Dia De Los Muertos.

Did you know that 'Rancho del Zocalo' is Mexican for 'Ranch of the Square'? The open area at the entrance to Frontierland was once called “El Zocalo,” or “the town square”,  making this place the town square ranch.

Dia De Los Muertos is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated on November 2th. On this day, the Mexicans are honoring their family members who are sadly departed. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members that have passed. These altars are decorated with bright yellow marigold flowers, photos of the departed, and the favorite foods and drinks of the one being honored.

Miguel, known from the Pixar movie 'Coco', loves to honor his family on this special place. During Halloween you might be able to find him here. Don't worry: he won't be bothered and will love to meet you!
