About
It's time to feel the rhythm in Adventureland at Disneyland Paris as we join the jungle crew for Timon's MataDance! This high energy dance happening is hosted by Timon and Pumbaa who take you through some wild dance moves with some help from their friends. Get ready for some Hakuna Matata fun and some naughty muscial notes from Pumbaa...just don't stand downwind!!!
The Lion King inspired traditional outfits worn by Timon and the dancers are full of vibrant colors bringing an authentic feel to this show. The dancers wear bright yellow outfits paired with colorful skirts and pants decorated with ribbons and accessories. Timon's oufit features 50 meters of ribbon fabric with 1,200 beads.
The outfits first debuted as part of the "Lion King and Jungle Festival" in 2019 and returned for the "Disney Music Festival" in 2025 with added musician drummers bringin even more musical rhythm to the MataDance.
You might recognise Pumbaa who we first saw in the Disneyland Paris parade, "Magic on Parade" in 2007 and Zazu from the "Animagique" show at the Walt Disney Studios Park in 2002.
