Background
- Hector Barbossa is one of the many ruthless Captains navigating the seven seas in the movie franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. “I am the master of my ship, not Blackbeard. I am the master of me fate, not Blackbeard! So I did what needed done. I survived.” From commanding the Black Pearl, to becoming the Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea, Barbossa led quite the life. He survived a curse and ultimately sacrificed himself for his daughter. He is pure of heart in a life stained by misery. Since the latest tales of his adventures were retold on the big screen, he made a few appearances at Walt Disney World's Halloween Parade and met a few fans at Run Disney Events.
