Captain Hector Barbossa

Background

Hector Barbossa is one of the many ruthless Captains navigating the seven seas in the movie franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. “I am the master of my ship, not Blackbeard. I am the master of me fate, not Blackbeard! So I did what needed done. I survived.” From commanding the Black Pearl, to becoming the Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea, Barbossa led quite the life. He survived a curse and ultimately sacrificed himself for his daughter. He is pure of heart in a life stained by misery. Since the latest tales of his adventures were retold on the big screen, he made a few appearances at Walt Disney World's Halloween Parade and met a few fans at Run Disney Events.
