Ariel has had a curiousity for the unknown beyond the ocean ceiling, with a major interest for those creatures with legs in particular, those humans. While other seacreatures fear humans Ariel admires them and wants to learn all about them, collecting their items lost at sea. Ariel loves to go on little adventures with her friends Ariel and Lucia. We even see Ariel hang around with her "auntie Ursula" who's a mergician and loves to teach the other merfolk magic.
