Background

Fred is an important character in Disney’s 2014 animated feature film Big Hero 6. Besides being a member of the superhero team Big Hero 6, he’s an enthusiastic comic book fan. Fred attends San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where he entertains his passion for science and works as the school’s mascot. He has a good sense of humor and has an eccentric and sometimes slightly overbearing personality. Fred is very creative and supportive of his friends. Compared to his friends, he is extremely laid-back and easy-going. Fred is very busy with school and being a superhero, so his appearances in Disney parks are rare.
