Grogu, also known as 'The Child', is a Force-sensitive 50-year-old infant of the same species as Yoda in the Star Wars universe. He was raised in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and trained by several Jedi. After Order 66, he was taken into hiding and forced to hide his abilities to survive. The Bounty Hunters’ Guild sought after him on behalf of the Imperial remnant, but the Mandalorian Din Djarin found and adopted him. Grogu decided that he didn’t want to get trained in the ways of the Force anymore, rejected the Jedi path, and chose the Mandalorian armor above the Jedi lightsaber.
