The Headless Horseman rides every Halloween night through the forest of the village Sleepy Hollow to find his head in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the second segment of Disney’s The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. He’s the ghost of a Hessian soldier, who lost his head to a stray cannonball. The story goes that if he doesn’t find his head, he’ll take another person’s head to replace his. He’s mysterious, scary, and ruthless, but fortunately, his dark powers are limited to the woods. Due to his terrifying and murderous nature, his visits to Disney parks are limited too.
