Werewolf by Night is the alter ego of Jack Russell. A curse causes him to transform into a werewolf during the full moon. When he’s transformed, he loses his empathy and control over his mind. He becomes dangerous, unpredictable, and even murderous. But he also helps other monsters in need. Despite regularly changing into a monster, Jack is actually a kind and gentle person who avoids hurting others. Jack infiltrated a gathering of monster hunters competing for the Bloodstone, an ancient supernatural red gem passed down through the Bloodstone family with the power to cast energy blasts. In doing so, he exposed himself as a werewolf and had to flee.
