Time to see the world of movies in 3D!

Formerly known as CinéMagique Theater, this movie theatre takes people to places beyond their imagination.

When Disneyland Paris opened in 1992, Michael Jackson entertained the audience with his space journey in 'Captain EO'. In 1998, the theatre received a full overlay, including a new 'moving base' that could move the entire audience. This was all in preparation for the new film: 'Honey, I Shrunk the Audience' where Wayne Szalinksi well... shrunk the audience.

After the sudden death of Michael Jackson, 'Captain EO' came back as a tribute to the singer.

Before a new movie made his entrance, the theatre was used as a preview center for new Disney blockbuster hits. In May 2017 'Star Wars: Path of the Jedi' opened and showed the audience the feel and emotions of the entire Star Wars Saga.

On 1 October 2018 the current movie 'Mickey's Philharmagic' premiered! This movie takes the audience to magic Disney places like Agrabah, the savannah and London as they can fly to Neverland with Peter Pan. Join Mickey and Donald for an amazing flight Disney magic!

Tips

The theatre can open later and close earlier than other rides. Be sure to check the programme for opening hours!

Trivia

During the second run of 'Captain EO', guests could see a making off video in the preshow!
Most of Donald's dialogue in 'Mickey's Philharmagic' is from the original voice of our Duck, Clarence Nash. Tony Anselmo, the current voice of Donald, only provided 5 lines for this show.
Captain EO was named after the Greek goddess of dawn, Eos.
