Almost hidden in the hart of Adventureland, Skull Rock is watching you wherever you go. Captain Hook, while searching for Peter Pan, has placed his famous ship nearby so this must mean something tricky is happening here.
This place is a tribute to the original Skull Rock and the 'Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship' that you could find in the original Disneyland at Fantasyland until 1983. It is based upon the skulllike rock where Peter Pan fought Captain Hook and freed Tiger Lily.
Walking into Skull Rock is a pure adventure. Try to find the treasures hidden in its deep caves or go up and see the interior of its shivering eyes. When you walk the area at night, you can notice how Skull Rock is watching you wherever you go. This effect is made possible by two lamps who are positioned inside the skull's eyes at a very strategic place.
Sometimes, mostly on Halloweenish nights, pirates and villains like to roam this place, ready to fright you, so beware!
