Eddie Valiant is the Californian private investigator in Disney/Touchtsone’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In the past, he worked together with his brother in their own firm Valiant & Valiant. After his brother got killed by a Toon, he showed a dislike for Toons, became hard-boiled and short-tempered, turned to the bottle and disappeared from the public eye. However, he changed from being a bitter and pessimistic detective into a brave and selfless one once he started an investigation to help Roger Rabbit. Due to being so busy as detective, his appearances in Disney parks are rare.
