Following on from the success of The Disney Parade, the newly renamed resort of Disneyland Paris introduced a vibrant carnival feel to the reworked parade called “The Disney Classics Parade” debuting in March 1994. Many of the same floats see in "The Disney Parade" were seen again with the addition of some new floats created to celebrate recent films such as Aladdin and The Lion King.
More colour was added to the parade with carnival dancers and stilt walkers interspersed with the floats all performing to a carnival soundtrack taken from the Walt Disney World Surprise Parade from 1991.
The parade ran until 1996 where the 5th Anniversary celebrations took over with the Carnival of Fools Parade. Some of the Classics Parade floats then moved to the Wonderful World of Disney Parade in 1998.
