Ian Lightfoot is the kind and caring 16-year-old elf who turned out to have magical abilities in Disney Pixar’s Onward. He lost his father before he was born and is convinced that he would have more confidence and a less messy and complicated life if he only would’ve had his father’s guidance. Unlike his brother Barley, Ian is awkward and afraid of almost everything. He discovered that he has an affinity for magic when he accidentally cast a spell to bring back his father. This led him and Barley to go on a quest together, which brought them closer together and gave Ian more confidence. Ian is now slowly venturing into the world of Disney parks and you never know if you might suddenly spot him during your visits!
