Several Variants of Kang discovered alternate universes and met each other in the 31st century. This caused the Multiversal War as some of the Variants saw the universes as new lands to conquer. Kang the Conqueror was one of them. He was exiled into the Quantum Realm by his fellow Kang variants, where he met Janet Van Dyne. They worked together to facilitate an escape, but Janet became scared of his true goals when she learned about his past. Kang recharged his armor, conquered a portion of the Quantum Realm, and built an empire. Eventually, he ended up against Ant-Man who seemingly killed him.
