Lady is one of the most popular dog on earth since the premiere, in 1955, of the animated classic Lady and the Tramp. She was inspired by a dog Walt gifted his wife Lillian. Although Main Street USA is in ode to her hometown and her friend Tony has a restaurant at the Magic Kingdom, Lady and Tramp never visited the park while guests were visiting. You can find a lot of homage to both of them in Disney Parks worldwide including two giant statues at the Pop Century resort at Walt Disney World.
