Melanie Ravenswood

Background

A ravishing Bride… that certainly was Melanie Ravenswood. Sadly, her “vanishing Groom” never made it to the wedding. Unable to let go of her dream marriage, she now still roams her parents’ manor as a ghost in Disneyland Paris’ Phantom Manor, looking for her long-lost love. She even asks guests to the house to marry her in despair. Melanie Ravenswood was the daughter of Henry and Martha Ravenswood, owners of the Big Thunder Mining Company in Thunder Mesa. It wasn’t a happy family and Melanie’s fiancée thought about going far away with her. They lived in the grand Victorian manor on Boot Hill until a terrible earthquake hit the town in 1860, rumor had it the Thunder Bird was responsible. But that wasn’t the whole truth! A Phantom had appeared to lure her suitor away and kill him. Melanie, in her wedding gown, sat waiting for hours and has since that day not taken off her dress or let go of her bouquet. She keeps wandering aimlessly while singing melancholically.
