Background
Jack Skellington, the Mayor of Halloweentown, stepped into Christmas town for the first time in 1993 in the stop motion animation Tim Burton Classic The Nightmare before Christmas. Jack is a great leader and a great storyteller. Truth be told he shouldn’t mess with any holidays other than Halloween, but he is only doing his best. Since his movie became a cult classic in the early 2000s, Disney decided to welcome Jack into our realm. At first it was only within the grounds of the Haunted Mansion but in recent years he has been welcomed to meet his guest in many Disney Parks. He even regularly appears in Paris and Florida as Sandy Claws during the Holiday season.
