The Mayor is the head of the government of Halloween Town in The Nightmare Before Christmas. He loves Halloween and spooky themes and likes to start planning the next Halloween from the moment Halloween has passed. Most of his authority is ceded to Jack Skellington because he has a hard time making decisions. The Mayor has the ability to switch faces based on his emotions. He’s fond of town meetings and making speeches for his citizens. The Mayor is busy all year round with organizing the next Halloween, which makes his appearances in Disney parks rather rare.
