Welcome to the Disney Cruise Line island of "Castaway Cay" which has been welcoming Guests since it opened in July 1998.
For Guests disembarking their Disney Cruise Ship here to enjoy time on "Castaway Cay" they are greeted by Mickey and Friends in their beach ready outfits where you can catch some sun and photo fun!
Use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for Character meet times which are often earlier in the day due to heat and you will find Disney Characters at the Gangway, the Post Office, the Island Pathway, Scuttle’s Cove and Mount Rustmore.
The oringinal 1998 outfits were updated with a new set of vibrant beach outfits in summer 2024.
