The Golden Horseshoe Saloon is a Disney classic! It opened as the place where Walt and Lillian Disney wanted to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary, 4 days before Disneyland Park received its first paying guests. For 31 years it was the home of the famous 'Golden Horseshoe Revue', where stars like Wally Boag and Betty Taylor performed day after day, for many, many years.
After 1986, it was the home of many beloved shows and groups like Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.
The saloon is the place to have a good lunch or dinner, away from the busy park. There is always something happening at the saloon so it's always a place you have to visit during your trip!
Sometimes your favorite Disney friends might decide to have a visit to the saloon, so always be prepared to meet Mickey, Goofy and many more!
