Okoye is the general of the Dora Milaje, the elite group of bodyguards who protect the ruler and royal family of Wakanda in the Marvel Universe. Besides being the personal bodyguard of Black Panther, the ruler of the nation, she also makes sure the whole of Wakanda is safe. As the leader of these exceptional women, Okoye has become a close friend of king T’Challa. Okoye is an expert combatant, a master of several martial arts, and highly intelligent. Her sonic spear is her preferred weapon. She visits Disney parks whenever she needs to accompany Black Panther.
