Raya is the headstrong princess of Kumandra’s Heart Land in Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon. As the daughter of Chief Benja, with whom she has a strong emotional connection, she was trained in martial arts and appointed as Guardian of the Dragon Gem during her youth. Unfortunately, the gem broke, and a plague known as the Druun was unleashed upon the world. Much of humanity turned into stone and Raya embarked on a brave quest to find the Last Dragon, retrieve the gem pieces, and vanquish the Druun for good with it. Raya is both a proud Guardian and resilient warrior who adapts easily to new situations. She only restored peace very recently and therefore is only starting to visit Disney parks. You never know you might run into her!
