Flit is Pocahontas’ pet hummingbird from Disney’s Pocahontas. He lives with her in Virginia. Although he’s the more serious of the two, he likes hanging around and messing with Pocahontas’ raccoon pet Meeko. His goal is to help Pocahontas bring peace between the Settlers and Native Peoples. Flit is very protective over Pocahontas and reacts hostile to anyone or anything that threatens her. He also doesn’t like strangers, which became clear when the Settlers arrived. At first, Flit was happy about the prospect of Pocahontas marrying Kocoum, but he eventually grew fonder of John Smith.
