Nemo

Background

Nemo is the cute little clownfish who became a star after his dad crossed the entire ocean to find him in the 2003 Pixar animated movie Finding Nemo. Because he's a fish it takes a lot of magic for him to visit Disney Parks other than in the Submarine voyage and the seas with Nemo and friends where he can appear in an underwater environment. He does appear in controlled environments where Disney makes sure he can stay out of the water long enough to perform. He appears regularly in Finding Nemo the Musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and in various parades in California and Paris. He even swam around Sleeping Beauty’s castle in Disneyland, California, during the park’s 60th anniversary celebration.
