Pua is Moana’s loyal pet pig and best friend in Disney’s Moana. Even though he’s a little pig, Pua seems to have puppy-like energy and a way of thinking and behaving. He is Moana’s biggest supporter and likes to assist her wherever he can. Moana’s happiness is very important to Pua, so he cares a lot about her sailing ambitions, although he doesn’t like the rough seas. Pua is willing to face new challenges, especially if it helps Moana or makes her happy, but he’ll back away once he deems it too life-threatening. Pua’s visits to Disney parks are rare, but he doesn’t like being away too much from Moana, so he joins her on her visits from time to time.
