The third Run Weekend saw the introduction of full run themes and a new start line set up in the Car Park next to the Expo Tent in Disney Village with a corral grouping arrangement and the introduction of pre-shows! The weekend was also renamed to “Disneyland Paris Run Weekend”. This year the 5k was Marvel themed and Marvel Agents were on stage at the start line to provide runners with their Mission: to find the Infinity Stones at each KM marker on the course. The course began through Disney Village and entered the Walt Disney Studios before going backstage to Adventureland and Frontierland in Disneyland Park. Continuing on their mission, Runners then made their way back into the Walt Disney Studios crossing the finish line in Production Courtyard to collect their Infinity Stone Medal.
In 2018 the Challenge Medals were increased to include the 31K Challenge for Runners who completed both the 10k and Half Marathon and a 36k Challenge Medal for those completing all 3 runs across the weekend. A total of 6 medals were available (3 runs, 2 Challenge, and 1 C2C).
