In the seventies, Chip & Dale got redesigned to have unique, individuaal personalities and slight differences in appearances.

Chip gets fuller eyebrows, a black nose and two teeth together in the middle of the mouth.

Dale gets a round, brown/red nose and two seperate teeth on the sides of his mouth.

During the sixties, Chip & Dale appear identical with no personal differences between them.

Just like the majority of the character costumes for this ear, Chip & Dale originated from the Ice Capades shows.

Chip's eyes face forward, Dale appears cross-eyed.
