Background
Prince Adam is the human form of the Beast. At the beginning of the story ‘Beauty and the Beast’, he was introduced as a handsome, yet arrogant and selfish character. When Adam refused to give shelter to an enchantress, he was turned into a beast to reflect his true personality. This curse could only be broken when he would find and receive love.
