Due to the curse of the enchantress, Lumière is turned into a three-armed golden candelabra.  He is an incredibly social and charismatic character who is characterized by his hospitality towards whoever he meets. In contrast to his friend Cogsworth, he has the habit of disobeying the firm rules of the Beast. Despite his disobedience, he still seems to be one of Beasts's closest friends.
